Examining the origins and values of the alt-right “movement”

This zine is the result of extensive research on the far-right of the internet, as well as unintentional exposure to these kinds of people through sites like Reddit. The text is from the editor of The Daily Stormer, the largest editorial platform for white nationalists in the US. It contains a large overview of movements associated with the alt-right, as well as a section on the alt-right’s preferred medium of communication: memes. My role in the text was to act as editor, highlighting inconsistencies and factual errors.

The goal was to highlight the errors of the movement, as well as to undermine the authorative voice of the writer on the issues he is obviously ignorant about. This project was completed individually with Social Oriented Design, and exhibited at the Garner Arts Center in New York.
